ATUG/EVUA 2008 Enterprise Conference: Unified Communications and Asia-Pacific Network Developments 16 - 17 September 2008 Sydney, Australia ATUG is excited to be working with EVUA to bring an annual Enterprise Users Conference to the end users in Australia/New Zealand and Asia Pacific. ATUG has been focused on business user needs for high quality communications services at reasonable prices since 1981. ATUG membership includes many of Australia’s Top 100 companies and Government agencies. The EVUA was formed in 1992 and has evolved into an effective ICT industry platform for global users and global suppliers. User membership is exclusively Fortune 1000 global companies. Both ATUG and EVUA are members of INTUG, the International Telecommunications Users Group. ATUG/EVUA’s Enterprise Conference will focus on product and service trends of interest to large corporate and government users. Topics will range from the impact of new technologies such as Next Generation Networks, Mobility and Convergence up to best in class management for Total Cost of Ownership, Outsourcing and ICT infrastructure Governance. The Conference will also have a focus on market and service developments throughout the region, and in particular India and China. The Forum will provide CIOs and Comms Managers with an update on industry product and service trends in a setting where issues can be explored, business case elements identified, change management approaches explored and successes and challenges shared with peers. Industry’s support for the event will be important in delivering the latest, global benchmarks and best practice beyond the current catalogue but into the future for the planning and strategy work that attendees will be doing with their Senior Management Team and at Board level. Over the past decade communications tools and networks have proliferated with much promise but the user focus has been on cost reduction. While that outcome is still in frame, expectations are now increasing for the contribution communications and connectivity can make to collaboration, innovation and sustainable growth. The inaugural 2008 Enterprise Forum will look at Unified Communications and the outcomes a successful implementation will deliver to enterprises and government organisations. We look forward to your support for this exciting initiative. Last updated 6-Oct-2008 |
