ATUG 2008 Awards
ATUG proudly presented
the 24th ATUG Excellence Awards at the 2008 ATUG Gala Dinner attended by
over 350 people from industry and end user organisations.
The Awards this year were presented by ATUG Chairman, Mr David Swift and ATUG
Vice Chairman and ATUG Awards Chairman, Mr Paul Morris.
The ATUG Awards are the oldest and most respected Awards for Australian Communications
achievements. The Awards recognise the achievements of people and companies
working to advance the use of communications services which are now so critical
to business growth, competitiveness and efficiency.
ATUG also presented for
the second year, ATUG’s National Broadband Awards.
Again this year ATUG had a particular focus on innovation which is a key element
that industry delivers to end users including ways to improve services in regional
and rural areas.
The Award nominations demonstrate a diverse, dynamic and increasingly competitive
communications market.
ATUG awards are made on
the recommendation of an invited panel of experts. There are nine award categories
for the 2008
