ATUG Benchmarking Service

What is ATUG benchmarking?
The concept behind benchmarking is to provide participants with an external frame of reference to compare their use of telecommunications services with other like organisations.
Armed with knowledge of their relative position in the market, companies can identify areas where they can focus to improve efficiency and cut costs, be better informed purchasers of telecommunications services and bargain more effectively when negotiating deals with carriers and service providers.

Why use ATUG Benchmarking?
In today’s business environment it is critical for businesses to survive by focusing on growing their company. This can be achieved a number of ways ie: from the acquiring of new profitable revenue streams as well as looking at the current cost structure of the organisation. ATUG Benchmarking allows the company to look at their telecommunications costs to review if the current resources implemented are efficient and the costing of these services are comparable to other similar sized companies.
In the current competitive telecommunications market the range of deals, contracts and pricing rates is vast and potentially confusing. It is important to be sure that your company is:

How does the ATUG Benchmarking work?

ATUG will collect information from you in the form of electronic billing statements, contract document extracts, network diagrams and site listings. ATUG will extract and compile a usage and spend profile of your organisation which will be used as input into the benchmarking process. ATUG use proprietary benchmarking software tools to generate a customised reporting output that is rich in detail with colour graphs and charts showing your position in the market for each service category. Results are presented to show your “bottom line” position against the benchmark group for all services analysed.
All the data provided by our clients remains strictly confidential. Raw data is kept on site securely and returned on completion of the benchmarking exercise.

Our benchmarking methodology incorporates an analysis of key performance indicators including service level commitments, class of service and value added components.
